Expo Stars is growing fast, and we are looking to hire a Business Development Manager for our Central Manchester office. The BDM will be responsible for securing new business for the agency from around the world, through pro-active prospecting and sales.
Responsibilities
– Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into long term business.
– Cold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
– Identify potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
– Research and build relationships with new clients.
– Set up meetings between prospect companies and the agency’s directors.
– Develop innovative sales approaches and pitches.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
– Bachelors level of education
– 1 years minimum experience in a related role
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– A positive, ‘can do’ attitude
– Unshakeable self-confidence
– Proactive, self-starter
– Ability to work independently as well as in a team
– Able to multi task and prioritise workload effectively
– Ability to pay attention to small details.
– Planning and organisation skills
– Excellent computer skills and strong knowledge of social media
Desired
– Masters level education
– Agency Experience
– Additional Languages
Salary: Negotiable subject to experience and qualifications OTE 40k
